Women-led since 1996, East Meets West Catering has been an innovator in Boston’s catering scene for more than 30 years.


We are dedicated to creating memorable moments for our clients, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, through curated food, personalized service, and a talented team that brings passion and attention to every detail.

Alex’s passion for hospitality began early in life. Growing up around food and gatherings, she quickly discovered a love for great food and the meaningful connections it creates.


After attending Johnson & Wales University, she began her career in catering and events. More than a decade ago, she joined East Meets West Catering and has continued to grow with the company ever since.


Throughout her time there, she has held a variety of roles and gained hands-on experience across all areas of the business. She spent four years as Director of Operations before stepping into her current role as Executive Director.


Alex is passionate about blending creativity with genuine human connection. She thrives on the variety each event brings, from new people to fresh ideas and unique challenges. The constant change is what keeps her work inspiring and rewarding.
